“Light, Darkness and the Tree” exhibition

Se Yoon was born in 1979 in Gumi, South Korea. He received Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea) and Master of Architecture Degree from Columbia University (New York, USA) where he received an Honor Awards for Design Excellence and Lucille Lowenfish Memorial prize. He has been invited as a guest critic in many design schools including Columbia, Harvard, Pratt and NYIT. He began his professional career working for OMA (Rem Koolhaas) in Netherlands and had worked for REX (Joshua Prince Ramus), BIG (Bjarke Ingels) and FREE (Fernando Romero) during which time he mostly involved in internationally well-known competitions and various range of projects including: YIBD (Yongsan International Business District) R6 in Korea, Shenzhen Stock Exchange office building in China and Koningin Julianplein building in Netherlands. For the past three years Se Yoon Park has been developing a series of sculptures that interconnect exploration of form, light and color.
