ION Orchard is proud to present the ION Art Photography Series 2016: Singapore Streetscapes featuring Aik Beng Chia & Mark Teo – the mall’s signature photography showcase dedicated to support and recognise the work of mid-career and established local photographers. Back with its third installment this year, the exhibition will feature the richness and diversity of the many facets of Singapore’s unique subcultures. Photographed by Mark Teo Running from 6 – 23 October, the exhibition promises to be a treat for photography connoisseurs and visitors with a sense of appreciation for art and photography. Visitors to the exhibition will embark on an exploration of the city’s subcultures and movement with vivid photos captured by notable local photographers Aik Beng Chia and Mark Teo. Over 60 photographs will be displayed at the exhibition and the stunning collection of images focuses on the different aspects of local subcultures, such as street art, extreme sports and music, bringing to life the dreams and fantasies of the subjects within. In addition to the photography series, photographer Mark Teo will be holding a workshop (6th October) to share his style of capturing movement.
